  • Job Title: Band 2 Support Workers & Band 3 Senior Support Workers 

  • Requirements: Oliver McGowan, Oral Health, Dysphagia, Epilepsy & Medication Training  

  • Location: East Riding of Yorkshire (Hull) 

  • Earn up to: £23* p/h (Band 2) / £30* p/h (Band 3)

Band 2 Support Workers: 

  • Implement Oliver McGowan care with confidence. 

  • Provide expert oral hygiene care. 

  • Proficiently support clients with dysphagia. 

  • Administer epilepsy medication following prescribed protocols. 

  • Skilfully administer medication through the buccal mucosa. 

Band 3 Senior Support Workers: 

  • All of the above, PLUS: 

  • Expertly manage swallowing difficulties with specialised interventions. 

  • Administer a wider range of medication types and routes, including buccal. 

  • Apply supervisory skills to lead and mentor junior support staff.
